Nature Trail For Families
This nature trail has been created to explore the stunning Rockaway Park Community Forest Garden in Temple Cloud, Somerset.
Be aware that some of the paths leading to the main garden space are a little narrow and you need to take care with your footing at all times. Unfortunately, the paths are not wheelchair or buggy accessible. However, if you want to only be on flat ground, you can approach the garden from the Eastcourt Road entrance where you can access the lower level.
A black and white print version of the map can be downloaded below so you can use it when visiting Rockaway Park. There's also a handy QR code that takes you to a list of different wildlife who live in the garden or who have visited, that you can select to discover fun facts about each one, including how you can help each species as a family.
There's also a colouring sheet you can download featuring different plants and animals that can be coloured in as you explore and discover each one. This colouring sheet can be also be adapted for use in other gardens, as well as parks, woodlands, forests and any other green spaces!
